You ever been to a place that feels like people who are growing up in the town work there? It's hard to describe the energy but it's pleasantly relaxing, even when crowded. I'd suggest getting there early-is as we entered into a line and walked past a line on the way out. It's THAT popular. There's a reason for that: the food is consistent. Everyone's toast came out perfectly, the bacon was cooked fresh, the eggs were fluffy, and the drinks were good. Recommendation: Cinnamon bun. Oh. My. Gosh. Not too sweet, crunchy on the top and so delicately light and soft inside. That was the highlight of breakfast, aside from peripherally observing the kitchen staff jamming out to 90s/2000s punk/skater rock and curse at a few fringe toasts. Sure, if you're a person of color you may get some side glances but it won't be from staff. The food is worth it.

Great spot for breakfast. Their cinnamon rolls are amazing. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It does open at 7am on the weekend and 8am on the weekdays.

Super busy when we got there. Their soup is so good. Highly recommend you get at least a cup of it. We had a grilled turkey sandwich and a mushroom omelet. Both were fantastic, but I’d have to say the soup was the highlight.

One of the standout features of The Bake Shop is their breakfast menu, which consistently earns rave reviews from satisfied diners. The cinnamon bun is a must-try, with its perfectly light and soft inner layers topped with a crunchy, not overly sweet glaze. This delightful pastry has left patrons, including Denis Milchev, declaring it "amazing," and it’s easy to see why it has become a signature item.

But the baked goods don’t stop there. Highlights from the menu include indulgent dishes like the sourdough pancakes, praised by Rebecca Burns for their delightful textures and generous portion sizes. For those seeking hearty lunch options, the Reuben sandwich, as noted by Amanda, is not to be missed. Served hot and adorned with a generous helping of Thousand Island dressing, this sandwich shines on chilly days. Pair it with a side salad, and you have a meal that doesn't just satisfy but delights.
